2017 Nissan Awards

Though 2017 vehicles have only been on the market for a few months, the newest Nissan models have won a host of awards - and on the heels of a successful year for its 2016 models in fact. From sports car to safety awards, 2017 Nissan vehicles are proving to be some of the best in the market.

For example, plenty of Nissan's 2017 lineup have already earned 5-star NHTSA ratings, including the 2017 Maxima, Altima, Pathfinder, Murano and more. These vehicles are equipped with Nissan Safety Shield, a package of driver assist features that only add to the security of Nissan's sturdy, crashworthy vehicles.

At the Active Lifestyle Awards held in late October, the Nissan TITAN won the "Extreme Off-Road" category while the Armada was named the winner of the "Luxury Family" category. These awards followed the TITAN and Armada's success at the Texas Auto Writers Association annual Truck Rodeo, where they were named the "Full-Size Truck of Texas" and "SUV of Texas".

The TITAN has had a good year - it was also a finalist for the 2017 North American Truck of the Year Award, which is decided by a panel of automotive journalists at the Los Angeles Auto Show held in November.

Also held at the LA Auto Show were the ALG Residual Value Awards, which found the 2017 Nissan GT-R to be the top Premium Sports Car in terms of slow depreciation.

The 2017 Nissan lineup is sure to continue winning awards throughout 2017 and for years to come. Want to see one of these award-winning models in person? Stop by Lewis Nissan near Charleston, WV and test drive one today!
