2016 Nissan Maxima Preview - Lewis Nissan

It wasn’t long ago that the all-new 2016 Nissan Maxima was introduced at the New York Auto Show. Before you know it, the 2016 Maxima will be here at Lewis Nissan! While we anxiously await the arrival of the 2016 Nissan Maxima, here are some things to expect on the all-new 8th generation Maxima.

2016 Nissan Maxima Design

The all-new 2016 Nissan Maxima was designed to be the high-performance sedan from Nissan. Some of the Nissan designers visited the U.S Navy’s Blue Angels for inspiration. The wrap-around design of the Maxima’s interior is based on the cockpit design from their aircraft. It’s lower to the ground, more sculpted and streamlined for an aerodynamic appearance. The Maxima is lighter and longer than any previous generation’s design to improve its performance. The all-new Maximas have boomerang-shaped headlights that feature LED signature lines that stay illuminated at all times. When you see the all-new 2016 Maxima on the road, you’re sure to turn heads.

2016 Nissan Maxima Interior

The interior of the Maxima is focused on the driver and the center console has been rotated 7° to be easier for the driver to use. This small shift puts the buttons, dial, knob and display in the perfect position. The Display Commander is standard on the all-new Maxima and it is designed to make control of your NissanConnect system intuitive and simple. It’s located right behind the gear shift and it allows you to control your infotainment system without looking down or touching the screen. The all-new Maxima has premium sport-styled front seats with available diamond-quilted leather inserts. They also take advantage of the Zero Gravity design which is designed to take pressure off your lower back.

2016 Nissan Maxima Safety

Just like the other vehicles in the Nissan lineup, the all-new Maxima comes with a suite of standard safety, driving and convenience features that promote confidence. The Nissan Advanced Air Bag System has front air bags with seat belt and occupant-classification sensors. Other safety features available include Vehicle Dynamic Control, Anti-Lock Braking System, Brake Assist, Traction Control System, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Blind Spot Warning, Around View Monitor, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and LATCH System.

These are just some reasons we’re anxiously waiting for the 2016 Nissan Maxima to hit our dealership lot. Stay tuned here at Lewis Nissan or check out our blog for even more updates!
